We've poured our hearts, souls, and self invested to capture the dazzling world of the Great British Majorette Championships. We've spent years filming, editing, and crafting a truly uplifting 3x60 minute docuseries, "Majorette Dreams." We believed in this story, and we still do. Logline: Glitz, high-kicks, and fierce rivalries ignite the Great British Majorette Championship, where UK and Irish troupes battle for glory under the watchful eye of celebrity judges, including Pasha Kovalev.

The founding business David Longstaffe media has traded since 2006 and in 2015 Kendo Prime Media was established and it has been self-funding TV documentaries with that first TX getting closer.

First television documentary came along in the form of a ‘obs doc’ about Albert Orme and his majorette dancing organisation GBBTA which is the UK, s largest attracting troupes from England Scotland and Wales with TV talents Ashley Taylor Dawson, Lisa George, Mikey North and George Sampson. Its fully filmed and produced and is at commissioning stage now.
Getting off the ground in television production was never going to be easy, early on Kendo Prime Media joined The DPP ‘Digital production partnership’ for access to industry accepted standards and all our work is produced using The DPP production standards and this high level is used in our commercial filming for consistency across all of our filmmaking.
Unfortunately David lost his life in 2026, we pay tribute and thank him for his hard work in what he created for us at GBBTA,

George Sampson shot to fame after winning the second season of Britain's Got Talent in 2008 and for several years he has been a keen judge and contributor at GBBTA Majorette's.

MAJORETTES EXPERIENCED JUDGES TEAM EPISODE FIVE
Sophie Simpson provides commentary on the routines, and judges offer constructive feedback and improvement tips. GBBTA fosters a positive environment, as its judges are experienced former dancers. In previous episodes, former majorettes and current GBBTA judges Lisa, Tericia, Gina and Gillian continue to assist Albert with the events. The expert and selfless contributions of individuals within GBBTA are essential to its operation. Their experience was particularly valuable during commentary in episodes one and two.

Get ready for a look at the GBBTA Hollywood Showcase. This year featured two fantastic troupes, Abba and Beatle Juice, performing to Hollywood themes. The judging team was led by Tericia and included a special guest, Andy Whyment from Coronation Street.

The wait is over! After 16 years, Albert Orme proudly presented the amazing GBBTA at the legendary Blackpool Tower Ballroom, with special appearances by Christopher Maloney and Pasha Kovalev.
